Appropriate Blood pressure Control in Diabetes

Purpose
To determine the efficacy of intensive vs moderate antihypertensive control on the outcome of type II diabetic end-organ complications in normotensive and hypertensive populations, and to compare nisoldipine with enalapril as a first-line antihypertensive agent in terms of the prevention and progression of complications of diabetes
