Purpose
To assess whether the addition of carotid endarterectomy to aspirin plus risk factor modifications will affect the incidence of ipsilateral transient ischaemic attacks, amaurosis fugax, and retinal and cerebral infarction in patients with asymptomatic, haemodynamically significant CS in at least one artery
