COoperative North Scandinavian ENalapril SUrvival Study


Purpose
To investigate the effect of enalapril, in addition to conventional therapy, on mortality in severe CHF. To study the activation of hormones related to cardiovascular function and the effect of the overall hormone response to angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibition.
